Peel Off Base Coat

I applied this to un-prepped nails to see how it lasts and got one day before it started peeling. I used it with prepped but not primed nails underneath the rubber base coat and colours and I had no peeling for one week, which is ideal for me. I will try it next with prepped nails and the primer to see how it lasts, and then maybe the rubber base coat again. I think this will last exactly as I want with minimal damage. Compared to pink gellac this is miles better, it's on par with my favorite water soak off gel (exclusive to Australia) so I really like it!

The base coat doesn’t peel off. Even with no prep you need to apply a lot of effort to get it off and it comes off together with the top layers of the nail. Perhaps damage is slightly smaller than with the normal base coat but is still there.

I have been using this for a while now and am really pleased with it. You apply it just like any other base cost and for my purposes I found it to be almost as resilient as a regular base coat, in that despite endless swipes of acetone to remove stamping and other nail art did not compromise it, by the 18th day of my most recent gel mani one nail did start to lift, but I would say this is an excellent addition to the Kiki London range and certainly meets the claim of 7 days wear.
